One Acre Exchange, an Exhibit on Local Industry as Community

Over the last couple of years I've become increasingly interested in the local fiber and textile industry here in central North Carolina, particularly how individuals and small-scale businesses can work together. Last year I became the organizer of a local affiliate of Fibershed, a nonprofit dedicated to developing sustainable regional fiber systems. 

Through this work I've met some great folks, and I'm collaborating with two of them to put together an exhibit on the nascent hemp fiber industry in North Carolina. The exhibit, titled One Acre Exchange, will be at The Carrack in Durham, NC from April 26 to May 12, 2019. Learn about the show and see a schedule of events.
